Without using these meters and guidelines such as buffers, thermal and chemical equilibrium, exact pH measurements can not be achieved by simply using pH strips which are known to have high in accuracy rates. By using our pH meters in controlled settings improves accuracy in our pH results down to decimal points, thus giving us greater confidence in our pH measurements. Our pH meters feature automatic buffer recognition, correct calibration buffers and are always used in its designated temperature profile for these buffers. The correct testing for pH is in a temperature and chemical controlled environment. Our manufacturing team assured us that the process in which the pH is tested is via digital meters that have a higher accuracy than pH strips with single increment values.
When freshly manufactured, the serum pH is approximately 2.4. I emailed the company and they responded with the following: Bear in mind Vitamin C must be below a pH of 3.5 to effectively enter the skin. The strip indicated the pH to be way too high. this time I tracked the package from LA to Austria, where it was again redirected back to the Americas - this time New York!īy this time the original serum had arrived and I did a pH test and confirmed my fears. I contacted Timeless and advised them that the product would oxidise and lose its effectiveness and after another week or so, they agreed to send a replacement package out. I tracked the parcel from being posted in LA, but for some bizarre reason it got redirected from the UK (where I live!) to Brazil, where it sat idly for a couple of weeks.
